In December of 2014, I had the privilege of marrying the most amazing woman. Grace and I have always loved traveling, so when the opportunity arose to shear in Australia for five months, we jumped at the chance. This experience was the catalyst to pursuing shearing full-time.
Grace and I moved to Arizona in December of 2017 and now call it home. We have one beautiful daughter who happily accompanies us to farms around the world.
I enjoy the art and challenge of shearing. It's a rewarding profession that has added diversity to my life.
I was born and raised in Iowa, the youngest of ten kids. My dad was a shearer and taught me how to shear in 2007. Since then I have traveled around America and Australia as a shearer. I have done thousands of sheep and alpacas and met some really great people along the way.
